Carrot River Economic Development

The Carrot River Economic Development Board began with a group of volunteers established from a community Strategic Planning meeting on October 22, 2007.

These committee members assessed Carrot River's pros and cons, and were willing to undertake promoting the Town's strengths and working on mending the weaknesses, while working together with The Town of Carrot River and the Rural Municipality of Moose Range #486.

CRED openrd an office in September of 2011 and tasks itself to be accessible to the public, listen to ideas and concerns, and facilitate, whether through workshops or discussions, the initial process of starting a new business or organization.

MISSION

We are a committed group of community members that wish to foster sustainable economic development in our region, maximize the quality of life for those living in our Town and R.M. district, and build a viable community for the future.
