Carrot River is located in northeast Saskatchewan on Highway Number 23.

Carrot River is located on the Canadian National Railway. It is the only Town in the Rural Municipality of Moose Range #486, creating a community of 2,400 residents. Carrot River features continuous economic growth, typical of an emerging agricultural/industry community. The restructuring of the rail line infrastructure combined with the multi-million-dollar investments in Carrot River in the 1990’s by a number of grain companies and private enterprises have positioned Carrot River for a strong and stable future into the 21st century.
